Do you remember the colors and yarn and the Hi-Bounce Pinky Ball from the end of last summer? Well, the yarn and one of the balls became the Flamingo.

Today I have the remaining Hi-Bounce Pinky Ball and the same yarn and I am casting on a quick and fun new little character that should be ready to go soon. I’ve had this one in the plans for a long time but I just haven’t gotten to it yet. Today’s the day! I’ll keep you posted.
The colors are Watermelon and Popsicle in Sweater. The needles are US size 5 and you don’t have to have a Hi-Bounce Pinky Ball to make the new toy or the Flamingo. You can simply stuff your toy with fiberfill or whatever you prefer and not use the ball.

I also finished up a toy last week for an upcoming release in June. I’ll keep you posted when this one is released. The colors are so good together. I love the way a fresh new cake of yarn looks and when you have many fresh yarn cakes it is even better. Promising even.
I have two news-worthy announcements today. The first is that I am having a Tweet Chat tomorrow, April 5th, on my twitter account. The Tweet Chat is taking place at 1pm Central time and will go until 2pm Central. We are talking about Spud & Chloë at the Farm! If you have questions you can tweet, facebook, email…. let me know what you want to chat about.
I am hoping to chat with you tomorrow if you can make it! The hashtag is #spudtalk. Don’t forget about the Spud & Chloë twitter account, too. Come and follow us here.
The other news item is that the Woolie Ewe is hosting a Spud & Chloë at the Farm knitalong starting April 11th. Also, they have pulled together a fantastic kit for Spud, Chloë, the barn and the fence and they are selling it at a wonderful price.
See you back here soon.
