Sean John Designs The 2010 NBA Hall of Fame Jackets (1992 Dream Team)

August 6, 2010 (New York, NY) – Sean John announces today that they will again produce the exclusive crested blazers for this year’s honorees at the Basketball Hall of Fame Enshrinement Class of 2010, and for the first, this year the jackets will be incorporated in the permanent exhibition at the Hall of Fame. Made-to-measure in wool, the jackets were designed to mark this momentous occasion with a specially designed and modernized crest. This year’s illustrious list of inductees includes the highly celebrated Olympic “Dream Team” roster from 1992 as well as the original Dream Team from 1960. This earlier team, clearly not as well known as the 1992 roster, was the team who set the standards for young men to strive to become NBA players.

Sean “Diddy” Combs said, “We are so thrilled to be a part of this third installment with our involvement in the NBA. This year the inductees are some of my favorite players and they are sure to go down in history. These are athletes that changed the sport forever.  To be a part of two separate Dream Teams receiving homage for what they’ve offered the sport is just incredible. I idolized the 1960 Dream Team growing up and watched the 1992 Dream Team as a young adult and it’s an honor just to be in the same room let alone design them a collection of blazers.”

“We are extremely pleased and honored to introduce this historic Class” said John L. Doleva, President and CEO of the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. “We look forward to welcoming them all to Springfield and to a wonderful Enshrinement Weekend.”
