Charm necklaces and just charms in general are one of my favorite things that exist. Those cute, lucky and clever ones, like the one above from Charm Co – love them all. I mean, how often do you find yourself with no wood around when you need to “knock on wood”. Search no more!
They make a perfect gift – you can really show you know the person by getting them the perfect charm. Charms may sometimes have a different meaning and certain cultures can relate to certain symbols more than others.
One of the funniest examples that comes to my mind is the conversation with a client of mine from France. This is the question she asked when she saw the wishbone necklace.

Its a wishbone – a turkey bone, the best selling necklace of Lucid New York
- Un os?
A bone?
- Oui, un os.
Yes, a bone.
- Mais pourquoi quelquun voudrait porter un os sur son cou? Why would anyone want to wear a bone on their neck?
Yes so the wishbone necklace didnt get any love in France. Over there, the most loved was the high heel shoe necklace.
