Pradas rainbow sole flatforms just cant get a break. As the winner of the spring runways, they flew off the shelves and drew the attention of more than one copycat. The latest is frequent offender Jeffrey Campbell, whose version is not really a bargain, ringing in at $130.
Also, the JC version is clunkier and not so sleek looking, so its a double fail. As weve said before, if such a blatant knock-off is still pricey, why bother? Perhaps youll be skipping the waiting list and saving $470 but its probably better to just go for the real deal. Plus, it seems unfair to to give Campbell business for knocking off a hardworking designers team.
Which would you spring for? The not-so-cheap knockoff or the true Prada (or neither)?
