During London Fashion Week, a collection seemed to completely redefine itself as a brand. Acne, the once labeled high end streetwear brand is changing many peoples minds about what to consider it as some have now claimed its moving directly into the high-fashion world. The Spring/Summer 2012 collection was full of inspiration from Acnes head designer Jonny Johanssons recent vacation to Marrakech, Morocco. After the show, Jonny explains that when he went to Morocco bored in advance of all the fashion clichés the place had birthed, and left with the unhappy feeling that he, too, had been influenced.

When I applied for a job at Martha Stewart Weddings, I submitted a dress story inspired by swans. So you can imagine my delight at seeing the feathery creations of the Giles spring collection! And I love the symbolism of the swan when it comes to weddings: This long-necked beauty is a monogamous bird, known to mate for life. My fantasy wedding definitely involves departing on one of these swan pedal boats. Aren’t they are awesome?

David Beckham is teaming up with high street giant H&M to launch his bodywear range for men.
The collection – which is not a collaboration but rather a long-term distribution partnership – will be launched on February 2 2012 worldwide, reports the Vogue website.
Beckham said of his latest venture: “Over the past year, I’ve been developing my Bodywear range with my team and I’m extremely positive about what we have designed and produced.
“The final piece in the jigsaw was a retail partner who has the vision and capability to distribute these products globally.
